KMA students and the Kyiv-Mohyla Foundation organized a series of cultural events
In March, the dedicated team of students from the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (KMA) with support of the Kyiv-Mohyla Foundation organized a series of cultural events as part of the “Unity.Awareness.Ukraine” project.
We are deeply honored to present to you the outcomes of these events. The project unfolded across three distinct events, each offering guests unique opportunities to immerse themselves in Ukrainian culture. We successfully raised funds for humanitarian aid to support Ukrainians.
“Ukraine in Lyrics” treated attendees to iconic music and poetry.
“Ukraine in Films” featured the screening of “Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors” by Sergei Parajanov, accompanied by a discussion led by the Ukrainian Canadian academic Taras Koznarskyi.
“Ukraine in Art” consisted of a workshop focused on painting and collages, allowing participants to engage in hands-on artistic expression.
Furthermore, we would like to extend our profound gratitude for the invaluable support from our sponsors: the Ihnatowycz Family Foundation, BCU Financial, Ukrainian Credit Union, and St. Volodymyr Institute. Their generous contribution has provided us with generous contributions, without which all of this would not have been possible.
